Ross Brannon

Ross Brannon built his career in real estate from the ground up. The determination and ingenuity he’s shown throughout his professional career make him a great fit at Tax Alpha Companies as a Tax Shelter and Private Equity Consultant.

After graduating from Florida State University in 2000, it only took Brannon a year to found his own commercial real estate firm, Mossy Oak Real Estate, Inc. Brannon built the business up to a portfolio of 45 revenue-generating properties in the Tallahassee area, where he ran the entire operation: from property acquisition to management and everything in between. His hands-on experience in property acquisition and management adds depth to his role at Tax Alpha Companies.

In 2011, Ross began working as a financial advisor at Strategic Wealth Specialists, where he specialized in assisting business owners—with a focus on dentists— in optimizing their financial operations. He is well-versed in maximizing high-revenue companies’ wealth potential while minimizing the risks that often come along with running a multi-million dollar business.

Brannon’s dedication to financial literacy also includes hosting the Financial Flossing Podcast, where he shares insights on how dentists and other high-revenue businesses can make informed decisions that propel them toward their financial goals.

During his time at FSU, Brannon earned all-conference awards as an offensive tackle and was a member of the Seminoles’ 1999 National Championship team.
