Johnny Borrelli

Johnny Borrelli is a Tax Shelter and Private Equity Consultant with Tax Alpha Companies, where he is responsible for assisting clients in evaluating tax shelter and investment solutions for their 1031 exchange.

Over the course of nearly a decade in the financial services industry, Johnny has served in a wide range of client-facing and leadership positions, providing insurance, securities and wealth management expertise, estate planning guidance and helping veterans access their hard-earned medical and financial benefits. He has also worked in both banking and real estate. The depth and breadth of his experience provides invaluable perspective for Tax Alpha Companies clients, but his specialized expertise as a 1031 Exchange Consultant—specifically, using Delaware Statutory Trusts (DSTs) in 1031 exchanges—stands out. He has completed several hundred DST transactions over the course of his career.

Johnny graduated from California State University, Northridge in 2008 with a B.S. in Environmental Planning. A dual Italian and U.S. citizen, he loves traveling with his wife and their two children both across the U.S. and internationally. Family trips to the beach or to Disneyland are a popular choice, and he has a passion for collectible sports cars.
