Ryan Hanks

A specialist in the self-storage and multi-family unit segments of commercial real estate investment, Ryan Hanks is an important piece of the Tax Alpha Companies Board of Directors.

Hanks is the founder and CEO of Madison Capital Group Holdings, LLC, a real estate investment firm that focuses on luxury, garden-style multifamily apartment buildings, along with large scale self-storage units that house RVs, boats and other high-value recreational vehicles.

Hanks brings over two decades of commercial real estate experience to his role on the board. During that time, he handled more than $6 billion worth of commercial real estate transactions, mostly in the southeastern United States. Most recently, in 2022, Hanks was named Managing Principal at Cameron Financial Holdings, where his role focuses on management of the company’s operational and investment strategies.

Hanks is also involved with numerous local and national real estate organizations, such as the Charlotte Apartment Association, Urban Land Institute, Self Storage Association and the Center for Transit-Oriented Development. He is also a member of the advisory board of New Republic Bank in Charlotte, N.C.

Ryan is a graduate of Liberty University in Virginia, where he earned a degree in Business Administration.
