Richard Hayes, CPA

Equipped with 36 years of experience, Richard F. Hayes serves as a CPA at Tax Alpha Companies. Richard got his start in finance in 1988 while working as a Senior Tax Manager with CliftonLarsonAllen (CLA) in Winter Park, Fla., and he’s been in the business ever since.

In addition to his role at Tax Alpha Companies, Richard currently serves as President of the Hayes & Varga Certified Public Accounting Firm, a CPA business that operates out of Orlando and was formerly known as Hayes and Associates, CPA. In 2025, Richard will celebrate his 30th year as President of the operation.

Richard has his roots firmly planted in Florida. He is a 1990 graduate from the University of Central Florida, where he earned a B.S. degree in Accounting and Finance.
